(Sorbus decora)
The showy mountain ash offers attractive foliage and flowers. Clusters of small red fruit mature in fall and remain on the tree into winter, offering food for birds. This is a hardy, slow-growing and disease-resistant tree. This is not a true ash so it is not susceptible to EAB (emerald ash borer). Minimal pruning should be done in late fall or winter.
