This native evergreen has an upright shape with long blue-green foliage that is soft-needled and fast-growing. On young trees the bark is smooth and gray; the mature bark develops a rectangular pattern. The pyramidal crown of whorled, horizontal branches provides some privacy and/or shade to your property. Its' refined foliage and furrowed gray bark could add an interesting dimension to your landscape.  

Plant on the east or west side of your home for maximum energy benefit.
